What this service is

Fair Price Atlanta is an information service. It provides price transparency for residential and consumer services in the Atlanta market. Its goal is to help residents understand the general range of what a service should cost before they agree to a quote.

What this service is not

• Not a contractor referral service. We do not endorse, recommend, or guarantee any contractor.
• Not a licensed appraisal. Our estimates are not produced by licensed appraisers and do not carry the legal weight of a formal appraisal.
• Not a binding quote. No estimate or comparison result constitutes a binding commitment by any contractor or by Fair Price Atlanta.

Accuracy and limitations

Estimates are currently based on public benchmark previews. No licensed Atlanta price source or verified Fair Price Atlanta quote dataset has been connected to the service. Numbers shown do not represent verified market prices.

Even when live data sources are connected, estimates reflect general market ranges and not the price for any specific job. Local conditions vary. Soil conditions, access constraints, permitting requirements, and material availability all affect actual contractor pricing. Always get multiple quotes.

Quote checker

The quote checker compares an entered amount with either a completed estimator result or a public benchmark baseline for the selected category. It returns one of four labels: below typical, within range, above typical, or not enough evidence.

These labels are informational only. They are not judgments about any contractor and should not be used to make accusations or disputes. A quote labeled above typical may reflect premium materials, a more experienced crew, or scope items not captured in our model. A quote labeled below typical may reflect a limited scope. Treat the result as one input among many.

Acceptable use

By using this service you agree to the following:

• You will not scrape, copy, or bulk-download estimate data from this service
• You will not use automated tools to access the service at volume
• You will not misrepresent Fair Price Atlanta estimates in communications with contractors, in legal disputes, or in any other context where a formal appraisal or binding quote is required
• You will not use the service in any way that violates applicable law

Intellectual property

The service structure, question flows, pricing formulas, formula versioning system, confidence methodology, and overall methodology described at /methodology are proprietary to Fair Price Atlanta. Reproducing or distributing these materials without written permission is not permitted.

Limitation of liability

Fair Price Atlanta is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fair Price Atlanta and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, any estimate, comparison, or other content provided by this service. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, and consequential damages.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the effective date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from use of this service will be resolved in the courts of Fulton County, Georgia.
