Sponsorship Policy
The core rule
Sponsorships never affect estimates, rankings, or results.
The current preview uses a deterministic public benchmark model and has no sponsors. In live mode, evidence must be verified and sourced. No sponsor relationship may change a formula variable, adjust a range boundary, or influence a confidence level.
What sponsors can do
- Place clearly labeled advertising adjacent to content. Sponsorship disclosures will be visible, specific, and not buried in fine print.
- Be listed in a transparent sponsor directory if we publish one.
- License aggregate market reports or white-label versions of the pricing tool, subject to separate agreements.
What sponsors cannot do
- Change an estimate range in any direction
- Rank higher or differently in any result or comparison
- Suppress a quote comparison result that is unfavorable to them
- Access individual user data or submitted quotes
- Request removal of pricing information that reflects badly on their industry
- Purchase placement inside an estimate or confidence explanation
Current status
There are no sponsors at this time. This policy is published in advance so that users know the rules before any sponsors are added. When the first sponsor relationship is established, it will be disclosed on this page.
Revenue model
The current preview is free. Any future paid feature must remain separate from the calculation itself and must not alter a user's result.
Potential revenue sources we may pursue, all subject to the rules above:
- Clearly labeled sponsorships from businesses that want to reach Atlanta homeowners
- Transparent referral disclosures when a user asks us to recommend a contractor category
- White-label calculators licensed to home services platforms, insurance companies, or financial institutions that want to offer their users the same transparency
- Market reports for builders, developers, or researchers who need aggregate Atlanta pricing data
